Mr. Sudhakar Rao, IAS (retd)
He is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officer of the 1973 batch. After several important assignments, in the State and Central governments, he retired as the Chief Secretary of Karnataka in September 2009. On retirement, he was appointed as a Member of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), Chairman-cum-Public Interest Director of BSE Ltd (formerly Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd), Independent Director in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, He was also Chairman of the BSE Training Institute and Chairman of the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI),Sector Skill Council of India till 31.03.2019. Mr. Rao was the Group Advisor, Strategy and Development of the Manipal Education and Medical Group for four years. He continues to be an Independent Director on the boards of several companies, including L&T-IDPL, and IFFCO-TOKIO General Insurance and Tata Elxsi.
Mr. Rao has also been keenly involved with matters relating to arts and culture after his retirement. He has been the Chairman of the Advisory Committee for the National Gallery of Modern Art, Bengaluru and is currently the Chairman of the Advisory Group of the Bangalore School of Music.
He is a Trustee of the Deccan Heritage Foundation, a non-profit working to preserve the heritage of the Deccan. He is also the Founder Trustee of The South Asian Symphony Foundation, Bengaluru a not-for-profit trust working to promote peace and harmony in the South Asian region through musical collaboration.
He was recently appointed as the Chairman of the Seventh Pay Commission of Karnataka.
Mr. Rao has a Masters Degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
Mr. Rao was conferred the Kannada Rajyotsava Award, under Public Service category by the Government of Karnataka on November 1, 2010.

Mr. Lakshminarayan M, Industry Leader
He is a holder of a degree with Distinction in Masters in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
His experience has spanned over 35 distinguished years in companies such as Bosch and Tata Motors. At Bosch, where he spent over 22 years, where he held leadership positions both in
India and Germany and was M D on the Board of Bosch India and incharge of all expansion as also Quality and new projects.
Lakshminarayan then started HARMAN operations in India in 2009. Harman is a leader in Connected Car Electronics as also Consumer Audio and Professional Audio Systems. Now it employs over 9000 persons. He serves as the Chairman of ZF Commercial Vehicle Solutions (India) Ltd., as also TVS Automotive Solutions Pvt Ltd.
He also serves on the Board of TVS Electronics, Brose Automotive India and other companies .He advises Venture Capital Funds in India and US.
He takes an active interest in Civic Society and is one of the founders of the ‘Bangalore City Connect Foundation’ - a non-profit forum which addresses issues related to urban management in the city of Bengaluru. It has formulated and implemented Standards for Urban Roads Execution (SURE) in active participation by Govt of Karnataka. Lakshminarayan has also served as the Chairman at Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Southern Region and President of the Bangalore Chamber of Commerce and Industries. Both are strong Industry bodies whose voice is well heard by the Government in driving Policies.

Born into a progressive Agricultural Family in Shigli village of erstwhile Dharwad dist. (now in Gadag district, Karnataka) in 1953. Positions held in govt. Commissioner, Kannada & Culture Department Govt. of Karnataka, Chief Executive Officer, Roerich and Devikarani Roerich Estate Board, Bangalore. Director, Social Security and Pensions, Revenue DeptGovernment of Karnataka, Bangalore, etc..Books Authored (30 )Collection of short stories - 5, Collection of Poems - 6, Collection of Essays - 4, Play - 1, Biographies - 4, Edited Works Translations - 10. Dr.Manu Baligar’s several short stories, Poems and other writings have been translated into English, Hindi, Oria ,Telugu And Sanskrit. Some short stories and poems and Articles of Dr.ManuBaligar have become text and references for schools, graduation level and PG level in a few universities of Karnataka and Maharashtra States. Awards & Honours Total Five Prizes including two Gold Medals for Outstanding performance in Government Service (during 1982-83 to 1985-86). Belgaum Dist., was conferred with the President of India “SatyenMythra Award” (1994-95) for total literacy programme and at that time (Manu Baligar) worked as the Editor of “Akshara Prabha” & “JnanaPrabha” Fortnightly of Belgaum Dist., in ‘Saksharatha Andolana at that time (1993-1999).

Delivered lectures on many National and International Seminars in the U.S.A., England,Australia, Bangkok, Dubai, Malaysia, Bahrain First time Kannada Sahitya Parishattu is constructing Kannada / Sahitya Bhavanas in 31 places. For the first time in the History of KaSaPa the state level Mahila Sahithya Sammelana under the Presidentship of Dr. Sudha Murthy was conducted in the year of 2019 and also the first state level Dalitha Sahitya Sammelana was held in Kolar under the Presidentship of Dr. Hanumanthaiah in 2019. 8 Volumes of Mahila Sahitya Samputa and 10 Volumes of Dalitha Sahitya Samputa were brought out during his period.

Mr. Subir Hari Singh, IAS (retd)
Subir Hari Singh (b. 1953) a retired career civil servant with 38 years experience including significant tenures in industrial development, urban development, housing, tourism and culture. Since 2013, he has been associated with the Indian Heritage Cities Network, and currently serves as the Chairman.
He is also Honorary President of Association of People with Disability - a 63 year-old NGO that deals with disabilities from infancy to middle-age. He currently resides in Bangalore with his wife.

Ms. SHAMA PAWAR, Social Innovator
Integrated and sustainable livelihoods expert, innovator and conservationist. Founder of The Kishkinda Trust and Convener INTACH Anegundi Hampi Chapter has been working in Anegundi, Hampi since 1996. Towards Rural Development in a heritage setting.
She is a non-academic who is known for application of concepts on the ground. Multi-disciplinary projects initiated and run by her are designed to conserve physical resources; generate livelihoods through rural tourism, culture and craft. A staunch advocate of site specific solutions and design interventions which lead to a better experience for the tourists and the local community. Having worked on the ground as well as with policy makers makes her accessible to all.Some of the projects conceptualized and executed under her direction :AHVY Banana fiber cluster, Rural Tourism GOI, Endogenous Tourism UNDP, Provision of a Master plan for Koppal district of Hampi, Craft Tourism Village, Ministry of textiles.

Mr. N.Sivasailam, IAS (retd)
Administrative Member, Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal, Bengaluru N. SIVASAILAM holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, University of Delhi, an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, a Masters in Social Policy in Developing Countries from the London School of Economics and a PG. Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Law from NLSIU, Bangalore. He joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1985 and superannuated in April 2020. N.SIVASAILAM served as Special Secretary (Logistics), Department of Commerce in the Government of India, as Special Secretary in the Department of Telecom in the Government of India. In the Government of India and Karnataka he has served in various capacities, Additional Chief Secretary (Department of Public Enterprises); Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare and Medical Education; Principal Secretary, Forest, Ecology & Environment; Managing Director, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd; Managing Director, Karnataka State Beverages Corporation Ltd; Managing Director,

Mr. Avani Verma, IFS (retd)
He is a former member of Indian Forest service and was head of the forest force of Karnataka Forest Department as Principal chief Conservator of Forest in addition to chief wildlife warden. Presently I am chairman of ABS Karnataka Biodiversity Board. I am also chairman of Network for Certification and Conservation of Forests India, a non govt organization engaged in certification and sustainability aspects of natural resources.
My area of focus is overall development of tribals by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities besides protecting their art and culture.
Having been a professional forester I am well aware of the challenges faced by tribals and am happy to contribute towards the vision of Drishyam.
